Big Sur, California

We spent almost the entire day in the car on Friday. We drove down the coast of California and hopped on Highway 1 leading down to Big Sur. To say the views were stunning is an understatement. We jumped out to take in the view all day and then had to backtrack some because the road was closed. Good thing it was so beautiful, so we didn’t mind. We stopped along the way for our first taste of In and Out Burger and then kept on trucking. We finally arrived in LA after midnight. Louie stayed up the entire time so he could be awake at midnight when his birthday began.
