Happy birthday Louie! We woke up early this morning and started our day with presents. We headed into LA and took a tour of the city. We were able to see the Hollywood sign, several filming locations such as where several scenes from Pretty Women were filmed and the famous chocolate scene from I Love Lucy. We also saw lots of stars current and former homes and the corner of the Playboy Mansion. Some of my favorites were Lucy and Desi’s home, Judy Garland’s and Carrie Fisher’s.We drove down Rodeo drive but never saw any stars except the ones on the ground. The kids loved reading the names on the stars and we all really enjoyed looking at all the handprints at the Chinese Theatre.
The highlight for Lilly was driving by Taylor Swift’s house! So cool!
This afternoon we headed over to Downtown Disney and explored the Star Wars and LEGO stores with the birthday boy. We knocked around before having dinner and heading back to the hotel for swimming and cake. Louie said it was the best birthday ever!
