Grand Canyon, Arizona

We drove from our campsite into the Grand Canyon National Park. I don’t think I have mentioned yet that Vinny has the veteran’s America the Beautiful pass, so we have free access to all National Parks which is amazing.The Grand Canyon left me speechless. We only saw a small portion of it, but what we saw was incredible. I can only imagine what it is like to spend a week or more exploring the canyons. We watched a video about the native tribes who reside in the area which was very heartwarming. We wandered around the rim and engaged with the squirrels. One of them tried to drink out of Vinny’s camelback and another one tried to steal our sandwiches. We took the bus to different view points and had the best time exploring the area.
After a long day of exploring, we headed back to the campground to relax.
